Bandung, August 12, 2026 – PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk (Darya-Varia) has strengthened its commitment to supporting the development of Indonesia’s halal entrepreneurship ecosystem through its strategic collaboration under the Halalpreneur program. The initiative aims to empower young people, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and creative communities to innovate and compete in the global market while upholding halal principles.

This year’s Halalpreneur program is particularly relevant as it coincides with National MSME Day, commemorated annually on August 12, reaffirming Darya-Varia’s commitment to supporting MSMEs as an important driver of Indonesia’s economic growth. To further expand the program’s impact, Darya-Varia is collaborating with the Ministry of Industry’s Vocational Education, through Politeknik APP Jakarta and Politeknik STTT Bandung. The collaboration strengthens the synergy between industry and vocational education by providing students with practical experience in halal business development while equipping them with entrepreneurial skills aligned with industry needs.

Through this collaboration, Darya-Varia and the Ministry of Industry’s Vocational Education are delivering several initiatives, including:

Integrated training programs for vocational students to develop their understanding of halal entrepreneurship and sustainable business practices.

Halal MSME mentoring, involving lecturers and students as research partners and business development mentors.

Halal product showcases featuring products developed by students and supported MSMEs, highlighting their contribution to the growth of Indonesia’s halal creative economy.

The Halalpreneur program will be implemented through a series of activities, including seminars, workshops, mentoring sessions, and halal product showcases. With the support of Darya-Varia and the Ministry of Industry’s Vocational Education, the initiative is expected to serve as a catalyst for the emergence of innovative and competitive halal entrepreneurs, while creating meaningful contributions to Indonesia’s MSMEs and broader economic development.
