BOGOR, 25 July 2025 – PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk (“Darya-Varia” or “the Company”) carried out a corporate social responsibility (CSR) program titled Generasi Sehat, Komunitas Berdaya (“Healthy Generation, Empowered Community”) in two villages in Bogor Regency: Cibatok 1 and Cibatok 2. This initiative is a concrete step by the Company to support the government’s efforts in tackling the issue of stunting.

The program is also part of the Company’s celebratory activities leading up to its 50th anniversary in Indonesia.

Initially, the program was implemented in Cibatok 2 Village and had been running consistently for six years (2018–2024). Due to its positive impact and in an effort to expand the benefits to a broader community, the program area was extended to include Cibatok 1 starting in 2024.

The CSR initiative was realized through the Wisuda Balita (Toddler Graduation) program, held on Friday, 25 July 2025, in Kampung Febri, Cibatok 1, Bogor Regency. Wisuda Balita served both as a form of appreciation for improvements in children’s nutritional status and as a platform for educating the public on parenting, balanced nutrition, and cross-sector collaboration in stunting prevention. Toddlers who successfully completed the program received awards as a symbol of their improved nutrition and development progress during the mentoring period.

By engaging parents, community health workers, partners, and media, the program strengthens cross-sector collaboration in building a stunting-free healthy generation. Darya-Varia’s stunting prevention CSR program, which has been running since 2018, entered a new phase in September 2024, directly supporting 40 toddlers, 18 pregnant women, and 2 breastfeeding mothers.

The support includes the provision of supplementary feeding (PMT), nutrition education, skills training related to food and family health, as well as sustainability support through the development of community food gardens.

President Director of Darya-Varia, Dr. Ian Kloer, explained that this initiative is part of the Company’s mission to build nutritional and health resilience at both household and community levels. He emphasized that public health is a long-term priority for the Company in line with its vision to create a healthier Indonesia—every person, every time.

“We believe that health is the foundation of the future. Through collaboration and innovation, we aim to be a trusted partner for Indonesian families—growing together toward healthier lives,” he said.

On this occasion, the Company reaffirmed its commitment to contribute not only through pharmaceutical products but also through community-based social initiatives. In addition, the Company continues to support the growth of the national pharmaceutical industry, acts as a partner in community health programs, and strengthens family welfare through sustainable CSR programs.

“Since our presence in Indonesia, Darya-Varia has not only produced quality medicines but also actively supported families through impactful social programs. Wisuda Balita is a symbol of our commitment to future generations. This commitment is reflected in our third pillar: supporting family welfare through sustainable, inclusive, and participatory CSR initiatives,” Dr. Ian added.

Wisuda Balita was attended by over 100 participants, including representatives from Darya-Varia led by Corporate Secretary Widya Tobing, program beneficiaries from Cibatok 1 and Cibatok 2, volunteers, implementation partners such as BenihBaik.com, and invited guests from the local government, subdistrict, public health center, and village officials.

As part of the Wisuda Balita event, a photo exhibition was also presented, capturing moments from the program’s activities and the participating children’s portraits. The exhibition served as a simple yet meaningful way to showcase the progress and impact of the initiative.

Darya-Varia hopes that Generasi Sehat, Komunitas Berdaya will inspire broader support for stunting prevention efforts and improving the quality of life for Indonesian families—contributing to the realization of a healthier Indonesia.
