Jakarta – PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk (Darya-Varia) collaborates with Politeknik APP Jakarta organized a Halalpreneur coaching clinic at the Cooperative and MSME Gallery Building in South Tangerang City, Saturday (22/6).
The event, in collaboration with the South Tangerang Cooperative and MSME Office, was attended by representatives from Darya-Varia, Politeknik APP Jakarta, Ministry of Industry, and South Tangerang Cooperative and MSME Office.
This event marks the initial series of Halalpreneur 2024, a manifestation of the joint commitment between Darya-Varia and Politeknik APP Jakarta to accelerate acquisition of Halal certification, particularly for MSMEs. The Halalpreneur program itself is a mentorship program resulting from the collaboration between two institutions, which has been running for the past three years in various regions such as Jakarta, Bogor, South Tangerang, and surrounding areas.
“We warmly welcome the Halalpreneur Program collaboration by Politeknik APP Jakarta and Darya-Varia, especially since this is the third year of this program. This program is a tangible manifestation of synergy between academia, community, and government, in this case, relevant local authorities, aimed at ensuring the quality and Halal status of the products. Through this Halalpreneur coaching clinic, we also aim to enhance the competence of industry human resources, which can drive the acceleration of Halal certification acquisition, especially for food and beverage SMEs in the Jakarta, South Tangerang, and surrounding areas,” explained A.R. Arie Wicaksono, Director of Politeknik APP Jakarta.
The coaching clinic event was held face-to-face with food and beverage entrepreneurs residing around South Tangerang. Following this will be events for Jakarta and surrounding areas. The next series will include online training for Halal committee .
“This collaboration in the Halalpreneur program is a concrete step in supporting MSMEs to accelerate in obtaining Halal certification. Darya-Varia is committed to continuously supporting and educating entrepreneurs to ensure that their products are not only of high quality but also meet Halal standards," said Ian Kloer, President Director of Darya-Varia.
The Halalpreneur 2024 coaching clinic event was held from 09.00 AM to 01.00 PM, accompanied by Halal product process (PPH) mentors who jointly provided education on Halal product assurance and guidelines for obtaining Halal certification for MSME entrepreneurs.
