Jakarta, August 25, 2025 – PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk (Darya-Varia) with Politeknik APP Jakarta held a Halalpreneur coaching clinic at Gedung Politeknik APP Jakarta on Saturday (23/8). This event is part of the Halalpreneur 2025, now in its fourth year, a collaboration between Darya-Varia, Politeknik APP Jakarta, with support from the Ministry of Industry. This year, Halalpreneur returns with a renewed spirit, expanding its reach beyond Indonesian MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) by embracing young entrepreneurs, including students who are already running their own businesses.

This year, 37 MSME from Jakarta, Depok and Tangerang have participated in a series of activities, ranging from coaching clinics to halal certification assistance. Through this approach, participants received practical guidance directly from the facilitators, making the certification process more comprehensible and easier to implement.

One of the biggest challenges that MSMEs still face is limited access to halal supervisors, which is an important element in the certification process. Halalpreneur provides a concrete solution by opening wider opportunities for business actors to be more efficient and targeted in meeting halal product standards.

In addition to certification assistance, participants also gained insights into the halal product assurance system, hands-on practice of using the SiHalal application, and the opportunity to build a business network. The coaching clinic method used makes the learning process more applicable compared to conventional training.

Beyond addressing structural changes, Halalpreneur also inspires individual success stories. One inspiring story came from a participant who initially had no understanding of the halal concept. After participating in the program, not only was he able to obtain his business certificate, but he also became a halal supervisor who now assists other MSMEs.

Darya-Varia's Corporate Secretary, Widya Tobing, stated, "For Darya-Varia, Halalpreneur is not merely a mentoring program, but part of our commitment to empower MSMEs so that their products are not only of high quality but also meet halal standards. We believe that as more MSMEs become certified, the competitiveness of Indonesia's halal industry will be stronger, both in the domestic and global markets."

A.R. Arie Wicaksono, Director of Politeknik APP Jakarta, emphasized, "Through Halalpreneur 2025, Politeknik APP Jakarta is committed to supporting communities to grow and contribute to the national economy. We hope that our collaboration with Darya-Varia will continue to strengthen and expand in the future."

With this continuity, Halalpreneur 2025 will not only accelerate the halal certification process, but also foster a generation of halal entrepreneurs who are better prepared to compete.
