Jakarta (9/2) The dynamics of the industrial era 4.0 encourage business leaders to always think about innovation and ready to harness their full potential of digitalization to benefit their clients, their people, their organization, their communities, and all stakeholders. This is also in line with the target of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, in the roadmap "Making Indonesia 4.0".

As a concrete of digital transformation initiatives that have become one of the main priorities since early 2020, PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria (DVL) and PT Medifarma Laboratories (MLI) on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, officially implemented a digital system for managing integrated transactional business data & Supply Chains (SAP S / 4 HANA, Coupa and SO99 +) through the Komodo Project initiative.

The new system was officially used through the virtual Go-Live ceremony of Komodo Project who was attended by all the stakeholders of this project.

The Komodo Project is also a manifestation of the company focus in providing the best service and carrying out sustainable development. The new systems will replace several systems that has been used previously by the company, namely:

  1. SAP S4 / HANA replaces the EXACT system in the real time integration of all operational and transactional business processes in DVL and MLI. This system will simplify, improve performance and simplify business processes that must be carried out by the employees.

  2. Coupa will replaces the B-One system in the implementation of non-inventory procurement activities and submission  operational costs. It will store all documents and data in one platform, in order to increase transparency and accountability. The implementation of this new system will facilitate and accelerate all internal and external transactions.

  3. SO99+ as an adaptive and responsive forecasting tools in procurement activities that will optimize the entire of supply chain planning process in DVL.

DVL / MLI is optimistic that the implementation of this new system can improve the quality of service in fulfilling product supply, strengthen the effectiveness and maintain good corporate governance.
