PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk (Darya-Varia) has been honored with the Indonesia Sustainable Synergy Awards 2025 in the category of Comprehensive Waste Management System and Improving Community Well-Being. The award, presented by Plus Idea Komunika in collaboration with Netralnews.com (NNC), recognizes Darya-Varia’s strong commitment to implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs that go beyond profit generation by focusing on social development, environmental preservation, and community well-being.

In addition, Dr. Ian Kloer, President Director of Darya-Varia, received the Top CEO SDGs Changemaker award in the category of Internalization of Sustainability Values and Long-term Impact Orientation.

According to the official statement from the organizers, Darya-Varia was recognized for its active role in carrying out CSR programs focused on three key areas—social and education, environment, and sustainable economy. Among its flagship initiatives are the Darya-Varia Scholarship for Talented and Aspiring Women Researchers (D-STAR), a scholarship program aimed at empowering women in the pharmaceutical field; through its Natur-E brand, the company launched the Nurturing Skin, Nurturing Earth initiative, which includes coral reef restoration, mangrove planting, and beach clean-up activities on Tidung Island; as well as the Halalpreneur program, which provides coaching clinics and halal certification assistance for entrepreneurs.
