PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk (Darya-Varia) once again demonstrates its commitment to supporting public health improvement through the implementation of the Kelurahan Sehat Program 2025, which officially commenced on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
The Kelurahan Sehat Program has been running since 2019 and is implemented in the area surrounding Darya-Varia’s Citeureup plant, specifically in Karang Asem Barat Subdistrict, Citeureup District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province. Within this coverage area, the program targets 832 families as beneficiaries.
To mark the launch of this year’s program, various local community leaders—including the District Secretary, Head of Subdistrict, Community Unit (RW) Leader, and youth representatives—attended the opening ceremony. The attendees witnessed a presentation on the program’s planned activities and the symbolic handover of the Kelurahan Sehat 2025 initiative.
As part of Darya-Varia’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Kelurahan Sehat aims to enhance public health through environmental and health maintenance as well as community empowerment. This year’s program carries the theme “Efforts in Proper Waste Management and Vegetable Cultivation to Realize the Environmentally Friendly Subdistrict (KRL) Program.”
The Kelurahan Sehat 2025 Program features several activities focusing on environmental preservation and community empowerment, including:
- Construction of biopore infiltration holes to process organic waste, enrich the soil, and prevent waterlogging and flooding.
- Cultivation of vegetable plants to improve soil fertility, encourage healthy living, and open opportunities for economic self-sufficiency through the sale of harvested produce.
- Provision of cleaning equipment for community use to support sustainable environmental hygiene practices.
Through the Kelurahan Sehat Program, Darya-Varia strives to foster sustainable collaboration between the company and the local community—creating a clean, healthy, and economically self-reliant environment that provides long-term benefits for future generations.
