Jakarta, November 11, 2024 – For the first time, PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk has launched the D-STAR 2024 scholarship program (Darya-Varia Scholarship for Talented Aspiring Women Researchers 2024) as a way to support young female students pursuing research in the field of pharmacy.

Four winners successfully passed the rigorous training, mentoring program, and selection process by the D-STAR 2024 judges. Congratulations to:

Haifa Nurul Karimah – School of Pharmacy, Institut Teknologi Bandung

Patricia Heidi Surjadidjaja – Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Indonesia

Diva Nanda Ayana – Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga

Each scholarship recipient will receive IDR 30 million in research funding as well as an opportunity to intern in the Research & Development (R&D) division or other related divisions at Darya-Varia.

D-STAR 2024 is a tangible manifestation of Darya-Varia’s commitment to addressing challenges in the pharmaceutical industry by encouraging more women to pursue careers in this field. The goal is to increase gender representation in science and strengthen the problem-solving capabilities of research teams in tackling complex issues.
